Sesame Street: Abc Hip Hop With Miles

Here is a video you and your child can watch to help them learn their ABC's. Feel free to sing along with the video, and have fun!

Fun with Shaving Cream!

Here are some of the students
practicing writing their numbers!
This week the students enjoyed getting messy while playing with shaving cream, that I added color to; the students practiced writing the numbers 11-15 in the shaving cream I put on each of their desks during math time!

Birthdays this week!

This week Justin and Sam are turning five years old! We will be having cake on Friday to celebrate!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom!

Emma and Susie are
showing off the letters that
they made!
This weeks story was, "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" by,Bill Martin and John Archambault! The kids loved learning their alphabet through reading the story. After I read the story to them each of the kids were able to make their own letters, and stick them on our alphabet tree that we have in the middle of our classroom this week.

Field Trip to the zoo next Friday!

This is a picture of some Giraffes
we might see at the zoo!
This is a reminder to all of the parents that next Friday the students and I will be going to the zoo. Please dress your child appropriately for the weather outside. Also, please make sure that your child has a packed lunch with them that day. We will be taking a bus to and from the zoo.
Thank You!

Don't forget to bring in a paper bag!

This is a reminder to all of the parents to please remember to send your child with a paper bag to school this Friday. We will be using the paper bags for our art activity this Friday so it is important that your child has one in class. Please let me know if you are unable to find a paper bag for your child by
responding to this blog post!
Thank You!

This weeks homework assignment!(October 5-October 9)

Here is what a silly number
seven looks like!
This week the students are learning how to write the numbers one thru ten correctly. So, I would like each student to write the numbers one thru on a piece of paper at least ten times this week. Please bring the piece of paper to class with your name at the top of the page monday morning, so I can see how well all of you are doing on your numbers one thru ten!
